Underhill SPECS was officially founded in 2012 after purchasing the first Speckle Park heifer in 2011, and is operated by Jordon Underhill and family. An ultra-modern beef operation where cows are housed in a new construction pac barn facility and open air yard. Cattle are monitored via high-speed wireless camera technology direct to smartphone for calving, heat detection, feed inventories, and general cow comfort. In the summer months cow/calf pairs and herd bulls are turned out to 60 acres of rolling pasture, creek and bush shade. Across 60 cows, Underhill SPECS typically rotates 6-8 herd bulls through the group for genetic diversity and also utilizes AI technology. 

Underhill SPECS point of difference is breeding for added performance and scale, while maintaining stringent structural correctness. Scale means female need to be wide pinned, maternal and well above average milk output. Underhill SPECS was honoured to be the first Eastern Canadian Speckle Park Breeder to win an Agribition Champion Banner (x2) and the first to host an Eastern Speckle Park Breed Production Sale. 

After 16 production sales, Underhill SPECS now produces two annual sales:
